LIP, CHEEK, EYELINER, & BEAUTY MARKS PERMANENT MAKEUP
IT IS ESSENTIAL TO FOLLOW THESE INSTRUCTIONS AFTER YOUR PROCEDURE:
During the first 24 to 48 hours, there is swelling after the treatment (you can apply cold compresses). Color is very intense until peeling occurs, usually for 3-7 days after the treatment. DO NOT peel off the scabs, because you will remove pigment from the treated areas.
During the First Day:
Gently cleanse the treated area with wet cotton pads every 30-60 minutes, without rubbing. Just to remove the lymph to prevent big scabs from forming.
During the first 3 Days:
Do not apply anything on or around the eyes.
Lips only, apply ointment 3 times a day, in between using Ointment (apply in a thin layer).
Do not expose your healing skin to direct shower spray, skin creams, ointments, or lotions other than what you have been instructed to use for at least 3 days following your procedure.
After 5 Days:
Apply the Ointment when necessary so that the area is not dry and tight.
During the first 7-10 Days:
No makeup is to be applied after the procedure on the tattoo area for the first 7-10 days. After any eyeliner procedure, use a new mascara only after the first 10 days. Do not use an eyelash curler for two weeks. Do not expose your healing skin to direct sun, tanning beds, hot tubs (tub bath if body area treated), saunas, salt water, chlorinated pools, or extremely hot water for 4 weeks following your procedure.
6 WEEKS HEALING PROCESS
The lips may appear very dry and chapped as they heal. The color may appear lighter at first, however it comes back as the skin heals. Usually the truest color appears after about two weeks.
**Use a good sunscreen daily- even lips require protection. Sun exposure will fade your permanent cosmetics and may cause irritation even years later.**
LIP BLUSH HEALING PROCESS
During the first 4 days of healing, beginning immediately after your tattoo, you may experience the following symptoms:
- Swelling and redness Tenderness
- Mild itchiness
- Dry skin (may remain for up to 3 weeks)
- Light flaking/peeling of the skin on the lips will begin during days 3-5.
- DO NOT PICK, PEEL OR RUB your lips as this may prematurely remove color which will cause your lips to heal unevenly. Allow the color to flake away by itself.
